Overview of CLOWD9 Platform Hierarchy

The CLOWD9 platform is designed to meet various business needs related to client, customer, program, or product structures. This document outlines the core entities and their relationships within the platform.

Key Entities

  • Client: Represents a company that owns a program. Clients can create sub-clients, allowing the master client to act as a program manager.
  • Program: A collection of products and their configurations.
  • BIN Range: Allocated to a product upon creation, used for card PAN number configuration.
  • Product: Defines parameters captured during product configuration, determining allowed behaviors.
  • Customer: A person using the payment program (e.g., card, QR code).
  • Card: A payment card (physical or virtual) used for transactions.

Relationships

Program - Client Relationship

A client identifies the owner of the program and can create sub-clients. Sub-clients can have cards linked directly to them and a program.

Program - Customer Relationship

A customer belongs to a single program and client. A program can handle multiple customers for different clients, allowing for record duplication across clients but within the same program.

Product - Card Relationship

New cards must belong to a specific product, enabling identification of all cards associated with a product.

BIN - BIN Range Relationship

During onboarding, a BIN Range is created for configuring new card PAN numbers.

Program and Product Relationship

This relationship identifies card configuration ownership. A product belongs to a program, defining card behavior during transactions.

Product - Client Relationship

This relationship identifies cards belonging to a specific client, allowing for multiple cards without assigning a customer initially.

BIN Range - Product Relationship

A BIN Range can be assigned to multiple products, allowing different product types (e.g., physical and virtual) to share the same BIN Range.

Network Considerations

The platform supports various payment networks, including Visa, Mastercard, and Discover, ensuring broad compatibility and flexibility.
