Off Ledger

Overview

Off Ledger is CLOWD9’s Switch proposition. Clients are able to use CLOWD9 as the certified interface to Network (Visa , Mastercard and Discover) to handle authorise and settlement traffic.

The system of customer and ledger of financial record is typically an external client sourced platform.

The interface between CLOWD9 and the external platform is based on the CLOWD9 Dynamic Data Stream (DDS).

CLOWD9 DDS supports

• Authorisation decisioning messaging
• Clearing/Settlement messaging
• Administrative notifications such as card status changes that occur in the system, blocking of a card if the number of online PIN tries are exceeded, or as a result of CLOWD9 automatically changing a card to expired when the expiry date has passed.

Typically the external ledger of financial record supports the following:

• Onboarding orchestration
• Management of financial authorisation decisioning
• Holding the “values” of individual customer funds
• Initiation of lifecycle events such as customer onboarding, status updates
