Network Final Response
CLOWD9 will receive Authorization and Reversal Requests from the Network, which will require CLOWD9 to respond with the outcome within the agreed time.
On Ledger
Where CLOWD9 are managing your Customer balances (On Ledger), all of the card validity and authentication checks will be performed together with the balance checks. CLOWD9 will then return the response to the Network and also provide the outcome to you, via the configured Network Final Response endpoint.
Off Ledger
For Off Ledger programs, where you are managing the Customer balances, CLOWD9 will perform the card validity and authentication checks. If any of these checks are unsuccessful, CLOWD9 will return a decline response to the Network and provide you with the Authorization Notification.
Following successful checks, CLOWD9 will provide you with the Authorization Request. A response will be required from you within the configured time in order for CLOWD9 to process and return the response to the Network. In the event CLOWD9 are unable to process your response or this is not received in time, CLOWD9 will return a Do Not Honour response to the Network.
CLOWD9 would recommend any communications to the Customer (via App, Web Portal or other means) takes place following receipt and processing of the Network Final Response, otherwise there could be a negative Customer journey. For example, the Authorization Request is approved by you and the Customer available balance is reduced by the approved amount; however the Network Final Response is a 100 Do Not Honour and therefore the afvalible balance will need to be increased as the clearing will not be received.
