DPay Status Management

Our DPay solution allows your customers to tokenize one or multiple devices while giving you the flexibility to manage the status of the funding card and individual devices independently.

If a device is lost or compromised during the DPAN lifecycle, the Set DPAN Status API allows you to safeguard your customers with two distinct actions:

  • suspend (Temporary): Places an immediate hold on the device. Any authorization requests using that DPAN will be declined. Changing the status to Resume instantly restores functionality
  • resume: Enables the Customer to continue using their card where the existing status is "suspend"
  • deactivate (Permanent): Terminates the DPAN entirely

Once a DPAN is deactivated, the customer must complete the tokenization process from scratch to re-enroll the device, even if it is later recovered.
