CLOWD9 will receive Authorization and Reversal Requests from the Network. These will require CLOWD9 to respond with the outcome within the agreed time.

On Ledger

Where CLOWD9 are managing your Customer balances (On Ledger), all of the card validity and authentication checks will be performed together with the balance checks. CLOWD9 will return the Authorization outcome to the Network and also provide the Network Confirmation to your configured endpoint.

Off Ledger

For Off Ledger programs, where you are managing the Customer balances, CLOWD9 will perform non-financial checks, for example card validity, PIN verification, Expiry date and many more and provide the following web hooks to you in line with your configuration:

• Authorization Request: Where all non-financial checks have been successful, CLOWD9 requires your decision (within the agreed response time).
• Authorization Notification: Where one or more of the non-financial checks have been unsuccessful.

CLOWD9 will return the Authorization outcome to the Network and also provide the Network Confirmation to your configured endpoint.

CLOWD9 recommends that you only send communications to your customer (through the app, web portal, or other channels) after you have received and processed the Network Confirmation webhook. Sending messages before this could lead to a poor customer experience.

For example, if your response is not received within the agreed timeframe or cannot be processed, the Network Confirmation may contain different information. In that case, the Network Confirmation should be used to update the customer's balance

The following is where CLOWD9 have received and processed your response. The Network Confirmation in most cases will match your Authorization Response

In cases where CLOWD9 do not receive your response in time or there is a technical reason that prevents CLOWD9 processing your response, you may be required to take additional action as advised by the Network Confirmation.
